Hanami time in Japan (or, let's eat and drink lots while taking pictures of a cherry blossom tree, yay!)
Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) time is the most popular couple of weeks of the year in Japan. True story.
Good morning lovely internet people! Today I wanted to talk about podcasts, not only because they became amazingly popular last year (yes, I am talking about you Serial), but because they are genuinely great to listen to on a commute, on a run, doing the washing up, etc. etc..
Yes, you heard it right, we only went and did the most Japanese thing possible!! And it was ADORABLE. (Unfortunately I am allergic to cats, and by the end of our hour at the cafe I thought I might die, but that really is entirely my fault and irrelevant to the actual lovely experience we had).
Happy Chocolate Is On Sale Day lovely readers! I hope you all had a great weekend. It was unseasonably warm here this weekend which made the return on the cold feel quite cruel haha! (I always feel very British whenever I complain about the weather *sings national anthem*.)
|Special Tsum Tsum to celebrate the Year of the Monkey. KAWAII!! (Cute)|
It is very hard to give you an honest account of Japan's 100 Yen shops, as I just want to write 'I LOVE THEM, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH', repeatedly, while crying into my keyboard. However, I will battle on.
